DDP, or Disc Description Protocol, is a file format and set of specifications commonly used in the process of CD duplication. It serves as a comprehensive and organized representation of the audio data, track layout, and other essential information for the creation of an audio CD. DDP files provide a precise digital snapshot of the final master, including audio tracks, subcodes, and other details, ensuring accuracy during the CD replication or duplication process. While many CD duplication facilities charge up to $100 for this service, our studio provides the same DDP mastering for just $30.
